Photo taken in Nags Head Woods - Poleing the boat is Robert Fulton Tillett.  Two of the girls are his sisters, Cece Belle and Winnie Davis Tillett.  One girl is unidentified.  The other girl is Zorado Mae Tillett, d/o Wm. Thomas and Elizabeth Partridge Tillett.

Harriet Ann Baum Tillett aboard the 5687-ton U.S. Merchant Marine ship, The Steel Ranger.  Harriet's son, Robert Fulton Tillett, was in the Merchant Marines.  This picture was made in 1921 when Harriet was 60 years old. Robert Fulton Tillett in his World War I uniform.  According to his WW I Draft Registration Card Robert was born in Nags Head, Currituck Co., NC on May 23, 1887.  He died in Carteret Co., NC on Aug. 30, 1958.  He married Mary Martin on June 14, 1925.
