Martha Love Fulford was born to Samuel and Sarah Fulford in 1852. The 1860 census has her family living in the Indian Ridge District of Currituck County.   She married John Livingston Flora (1838-1890)  [see his photo here].  They had six children: John, Samuel, Jerome, Virginia, Sadie, and Bettie. Martha died in 1917 and is buried in Riverside Cemetery in Norfolk,VA.  Most of the family settled in South Norfolk.
