Harriett Thomas Home

Located on U.S. Highway 158 south of Powells Point.  Original hand-hewn 12 x12 sills are there and it is pegged together with large wooden pegs.  Pictured in foreground are Mrs. Gladys F. Sawyer and Mrs. "Brinie" Aydlett, mother of the present owner and two other children.  Present owners are Mr. and Mrs. Gettys Harris.  Mrs. Harris is the daughter of Mrs. Aydlett.
