1 Dec 1870 - Account of Sales of personal property sold by W.B. SHAW, Collector of the estate of Dempsey DOXEY, dec'd.  Various buyers were J.J. BAXTER, Jno. A. MATHIAS, Geo. SNOWDEN, P.H. MORGAN, and the widow.  Total sale amounted to $177.18

1 Dec 1870 - Received of W.B. SHAW, Collector of the estate of Dempsey DOXEY, dec'd., $2.00 for services needed for filing petition to sell personal property for cash.  /s/ M. HENRY?, Atty.

1 Dec 1870 - Received of W.B. SHAW, Collector of the estate of Dempsey DOXEY, dec'd., 431/4 bushels of corn valued at $2.631/2 per bushel.  /s/ W.P. [x] LANE

1 Dec 1870 - Received of W.B. SHAW, Collector of the estate of Dempsey DOXEY, dec'd., $65.45 to be credited upon the amount due me as assessed by commissioners for one years provision.  /s/ Sophia [x] DOXEY

15 Feb 1871 - Received of  A.O. DEY, Clerk of Superior Court, $68.89, it being the amount paid by W.B. SHAW as Collector of the estate of Dempsey DOXEY, dec'd.  /s/ E.F. BAXTER, Adm'r. on said estate
