3 June 1907 - Application for Letters of Administration.  H.B. CRAIN [Haywood Boyd Crain] states that Charles H. CRAIN is dead without leaving any will and that he is the proper person to administer on his estate; that the value of the estate is about $250.00 and that H.B. CRAIN of Grandy, NC, Nancy J. CRAIN of Grandy, NC, Apollos CRAIN of Oriental, NC, Thomas CRAIN of Grandy, NC, Patrick CRAIN of Grandy, NC, Martha A. SMITH of Grandy, NC, Maggie S. GRANDY of Grandy, NC and Lizzett PIKE of Grandy, NC are entitled as heirs thereof.  /s/ H.B. CRAIN [his administrator's oath followed]
