David Brumley - 1904

21 Mar 1904 - Commissioners Report on Widow's One Year Support.  Commissioners allotted to Mariam BRUMLEY, widow of David BRUMLEY, $204.50 worth of articles of personal property and find that there is a deficiency of $95.50.  They also find that the family, exclusive of the widow, is three.  /s/ E.D. BOWDEN, W.B. WHITE, W.A. LITCHFIELD

NOTE:  Cemetery records show David Brumley being born January 22, 1820 and dying January 19, 1904.  His wife is listed as Mary E. on her tombstone.  She was born May 14, 1821 and died May 10, 1909.  They are buried on Knotts Island.
