G. [Gideon] C. Boswood- 1913

7 Feb 1913 - Application for Letters of Administration - John H. BOSWOOD states that G.C. BOSWOOD is dead without leaving any will and testament and that he is the proper person to administer on the estate which is worth about $1066.00 and that Mrs. M.J. SEYMOUR of Riddle, NC, John H. BOSWOOD of Gregory, NC, C.E. BOSWOOD of Elizabeth City, NC, Mrs. S.S. WOOD of Norfolk, VA, Jessie BOSWOOD (minor) of Elizabeth City, NC, and Ruth BOSWOOD (minor) of Norfolk, VA are entitled as heirs thereof.  /s/ John H. BOSWOOD  [his administrator's oath followed]

NOTE: Cemetery records show G.C. Boswood, Sr. dying on January 25, 1913 at age 81.
