17 Dec 1902 - Application for Letters of Administration.  T.B. WILSON states that Stephen R. BELL is dead without leaving any will and testament and that he is the proper person entitled to Letters of Administration.  That the estate is would about $188.87 and that Alcesta WHITEHEAD of Chapanoke, NC and Marietta HORTON of E. City, NC are entitled as heirs thereof.  /s/ T.B. WILSON  (Administrator's Oath followed)

18 Dec 1902 Elizabeth City, NC - Letter to E.W. ANSELL, Clerk of Superior Court.  We, the undersigned, are the only heirs and distributees of the late S.R. BELL and as such are entitled to administer upon his estate.  We hereby renounce our right to administer upon his estate and request you to appoint in our place, T.B. WILSONS.R. BELL was our brother.  /s/ Alcesta B. WHITEHEAD, M.L. WHITEHEAD, Marietta C. HORTON

17 Dec 1902 - 17 Dec 1903 - First annual account of T.B. WILSON, administrator of the estate of Stephen R. BELL, deceased.  Mentions received $188.87 from E.W. ANSELL, Clerk of Superior Court; paid Marietta HORTON her distributive share of $50.00 and paid Mrs. A.B. WHITEHEAD her distributive share of $50.00, both heirs-at-law of S.R. BELL.  /s/ T.B. WILSON.  Sworn to and subscribed before W.H. JENNINGS, Clerk of Superior Court, on April 20, 1904.
