18 Dec 1907 - Application for Letters of Administration.  Caleb B. BELL states that Mamie A. BELL, late of said county, is dead without leaving any will and testament; and that he is the proper person entitled to Letters of Administration.  Further, that the property of the said Mamie A. BELL is worth about $6160.00 and that Margaret STOVER of South Boston, Va., J.E.C. BELL [Jr.] of Shawboro, NC, B.B. BELL of Shawboro, NC, and Caleb B. BELL of Shawboro, NC are entitled as heirs thereof.  /s/ Caleb B. BELL

10 Dec 1907 - Oct 1908 - Final account of Caleb BELL, admr of Mary A. BELL, deceased.  Mentions paying $205.00 to J.H. SIMMONS for monument, $30.00 for embalmer and $1.10 for transportation of corpse to Shawboro.  /s/ Caleb B. BELL
