Edwin C. Bell - 1853
[See his will here]

not dated - Legatees of E.C. BELL vs. the heirs at law of E.C. BELL.  In this case it is submitted to the Jury to try the following issues: Is the paper writing propounded to be the last will and testament of Edwin C. BELL, decd, and is it executed in due form to pass both real and personal estate?  The jury states that the paper writing propounded to be the last will & testament of E.C. BELL is his last will and that it is executed in due form of law.  Wherefore the same is admitted by the Court to probate as the last will & testament of Edwin C. BELL and is ordered to be recorded.  And Isaac SNOWDEN & George BELL, the executors therein named, having renounced, it is ordered by the Court that letters of administration with the will annexed be committed to George F. BELL upon his entering into bond in the sum of $3000.00 with Wilson SANDERLIN & W.E. FEREBEE as his sureties.  And the same having been done by him, he appeared in open Court and qualified as such administrator.  /not signed/
