[Deed Book 58; pg. 505-507]  July 24, 1920. E.B. CAFFEE, (Bachelor) of Moore County and State of North Carolina to Cleveland AYDLETT of Currituck County. One hundred dollars and other valuable considerations. A certain tract or parcel of land in Poplar Branch Township Currituck County, State of North Carolina, adjoining the lands of G.V. SIMPSON (South Side) & Heirs of Jessie EVANS (Deceased) (on North side) and others ... Beginning at a stake on the East edge of the road, running from Mt Zion ME Church, to Parkers Creek, Running East to a pine on bank of ditch, thence East to another pine at edge of swamp, thence in line of these 2 pines, to the waters edge of Dowdy's Bay, binding the land of said G.V. SIMPSON all the way through. Thence running North Binding the water, to a 6 feet ditch on the South side of the said Jessie EVANS (deceased) tract of land. Thence running West, with South edge of ditch in line with a row of stakes, binding the lands of said Jessie EVANS Heirs via,, Pollie EVANS (widow) Lewis EVANS, Lovie EVANS, Lazarus EVANS, Philip EVANS, J.H. OUTLAY & wife. Lazarus EVANS (second tract). also the Poplar Branch Baptist Church lot to a stake at the Southwest corner of said lot, on the East edge of said Parkers Creek road, Thence running South, binding said road to the beginning.  /s/ E.B.
