[Deed Book 45; pg. 426-427] Oct. 11, 1902 - W.A. MERRELL & wife Mary sold to James HALEY, for $90.00, a certain tract or parcel of land in Poplar Branch Township adjoining the land of Josephus BAUM, W.A. MERRELL and others bounded as follows Bounded on the North by the land of Josephus BAUM, on the East and South by the land of W. A. MERRELL on the West by the Public road containing 6 acres.  Witness: W.L. OWENS.  Registered January 7, 1903.

[Deed Book 45; pg. 590-591] This deed made this April 21, 1903, we, W.H. BRIGGS & wife Julia for and consideration of the sum of $130.00 paid to us by W.T. BAUM for a track of land in Poplar Branch Township adjoining the lands of J.W. FISHER and situated on North River shore near Jarvisburg wharf and others binding FISHER and North River containing 2 ½ acres.  Registered May 7, 1903.
