This Bible suffered extensive water damage at some point in time.  Of the 5 pages some could be read fairly easily, and some could not.  I hope the Bible transcriptions below each page will be valuable to Waterfield researchers.  Anyone knowing more about this family please e-mail me.

• Malachi Waterfield Departed this life Decr the 11 day 1837

• Polly Waterfield Daughter of Malachi Waterfield and Fanny his wife was born the 16th of Feb 1813

• David Waterfield son of Malachi Waterfield and Fanny his wife was born the 5 of May 1816

• Harvey Waterfield son of Malachi Waterfield and Fanny his wife was born the 14th of March 1818

• Waitman Waterfield son of Malachi Waterfield and Fanny his [wife] was born July the 29th 1820

• Taylor Waterfield son of Malachi Waterfield and Fanny his wife was born Sept 29th (?) 1822

• Left side of Bible simply says David Waterfield May 13, 1913 which is written in a totally different handwriting.  I don't have any idea what this date signifies.

• Mary J. Waterfield Daughter of David Waterfield and [unreadable] his wife was born Aug 28, 1840

• Wm. T. Waterfield son of David Waterfield and Lydia his wife was born May the 30th 1842

• Malachi J. Waterfield son of David Waterfield and his wife Lydia was born [unreadable] 14th 1844

• Emily F. Waterfield Daughter of David Waterfield and Lydia his wife was born July 10th 1846

• William August 8th 1857

• Mary Waterfield August 8th /57

• Mary Quinn the daughter of Thos. Quinn and Lydia Dudley her mother was borned August the 7th 1825

• Mary Waterfield the wife of David Waterfield died April 2d A.D. 1860

• Lidia A. Waterfield the Daughter of David Waterfield [and] Mary his wife was born March the 29th A.D. 1860

• Wrote by M. J. (?) Waterfield Knotts Island Currituck Co NC August 8th /57

• Fanny Waterfield the daughter of David and Lidia Waterfield was born August 7th 1865 - NOTE: Fanny Waterfield married William H. Simpson on May 4, 1882

• Lydia B. Waterfield the daughter of Timothy Bowden and Caroline his wife was born January 11th 1845

Left Side:

• [unreadable] Waterfield son of David and Lydia his wife died May 14th 1863

• David Waterfield died March the 28 1882 [this looked like 1882 here but 1883 on the next line]

• David Waterfield died March the 28 1883 Tueday

Right Side:

• Caroline Virginia Waterfield the daughter of David and Lydia Waterfield was born Oct. 7th 1867

• William T. Waterfield the son of David and Lydia Waterfield his wife was born August the 7th 1871 - NOTE: William T. Waterfield married Tillie F. Stiron on Knotts Island Mar. 13, 1892
