1.WILLIAM1 MOORE born Bef. 1700 possibly in Va., and died Abt. 1774 in Bladen County, North Carolina.  He married UNKNOWN.

Notes for WILLIAM MOORE:
We believe that William is the father of Matthew, but the only documentation we have is his will naming Matthew and his brothers.

Children of WILLIAM MOORE and UNKOWN are:

                 d. Abt. 1825 in Cumberland County, North Carolina.  He married
                 PRUDENCE ? Bet. 1774 - 1775.  She was born Abt. 1759.

     2.  MATTHEW2 MOORE (WILLIAM1) was born Abt. 1755 in Bladen County, 
     North Carolina, and died Abt. 1825 in Cumberland County, North Carolina.  He 
     Married PRUDENCE ? Bet. 1774 - 1775.  She was born Abt. 1759.

     Notes for MATTHEW MOORE:
     Matthew Moore has been identified by several descendants and accepted into the  
     DAR, as the following, carried on page 477 of the "Patriot Index" of such Society:
     
     "Matthew Moore, b. before 1755; d. after 10-06-1824; m. Prudence____; Soldier NC"

3.	HARDY3 MOORE (MATTHEW2, WILLIAM1) was born 1776 in North Carolina,         
  and died July 1865 in Clarkton, Dunklin County, Missouri.  He married (1) UNKOWN
  Bet. 1800 - 1801.  He married (2) AMELIA (BONETA) WATSON June 24, 1816 in 
  Craven County, North Carolina. She was b. Bef. 1800 in North Carolina, and d. Abt.                                                              . 1836 in Dyer County, Tennessee. He married (3) MARTHA (PATSEY) KING Abt. 
  1845 in Dyer County, Tennessee, daughter of MICHAEL KING and SENAY OATS. He married 
(3) MARTHA (PATSEY) KING Abt.---. She was born June 24, 1813 in Sampson County, North Carolina, 
and died Abt. 1860 in Dyer County, Tennessee. 

  Notes for HARDY MOORE: 
  Hardy was listed first on the 1800 Census in Cumberland County, North Carolina, in 
  The Williams Township.  He was 24 years old and not married at that time. He married  
  UNKNOWN between  1800 and 1801.  She died sometime before 1816.  There is a
  Marriage bond for Hardy Moore and Boneta Watson, June 24 1816 in Craven County,
  with John Moore as Bondsman.  About 1835 Hardy moved his family from North
  Carolina to Dyer County, Tennessee.  His second wife, Amelia (Boneta) Watson, is  
  believed to have died there sometime after 1835.  Hardy married Martha King Bizzell                                                 
  about 1845 after the death of her husband, E.K. Bizzell.  The family remained in    
  Tennessee until Martha's death sometime in 1860.  That year Hardy moved  his 
  family across the Mississippi River into Dunklin Coutny, Missouri.  Part of the family
  remained in Tennessee.  Hardy Moore died in Dunklin County, Missouri in 1865, at
  the age of 89.

5.	ELIAS HUTCHINS4 MOORE (HARDY3, MATTHEW2, WILLIAM1) was born
  March 01, 1832 in Cumberland County, North Carolina, and died December 29,
  1885 in Cardwell, Dunklin County, Missouri.  He married SIRENIA RANKIN
  December 13, 1864 in Clarkton, Dunklin County, Missouri, daughter of ROBERT
  RANKIN and MARY TERRILL.  She was born August 11, 1845 in Gibson County,
  Tennessee, and died March 03, 1926 in White Deer, Carson County, Texas.

  Notes for ELIAS HUTCHINS5 MOOTE:
  The Moore family first lived in Clarkton and then Cotton Plant, Dunklin County,
  Missouri during the late 1860's and early 1870's.  They then moved the family to
  Hill County, Texas where they resided for 7 years.  They moved back to Dunklin 
  County, Missouri in 1883.  Elias Hutchins died near Cardwell, Missouri in 1885.
  Sirenia and her two boys moved to Greer County, Oklahoma, where they lived 
  Until 1900.  Their daughter remained in Dunklin County, Missouri with her family.
  From Greer County, Oklahoma the family moved to Hutchinson County, Texas,
  Where they settled and bought land.
