From Cumberland Chronicles, Vol. XIV, Numbers 2 - 3, June & Sept. 1997

St. Patrick's Catholic Church was organized ca. 1828. The first building used by this congregation on Bow Street was destroyed in the Great Fire of 1831. It was rebuilt in 1832 and used until 1936 when a new building was constructed on Arsenal Avenue. The present congregation is located on Village Drive.
