He was then adopted by William Morrison and and his wife who was Amanda Jarman prior to her marriage . She was a first cousin of William Alexander Jarman, his mother's sister's child. William was buried at Spring Hill Methodist Church in Lillington, NC on 4-24-1926.

John Benjamin Wade was married to Annie Jane Knight 1st. They had a daugter Bertha. Annie died and John Benjamin, known as John B. married Celia Jane Morrison, known to all as Janie. Janie was the sister of Lulu Morrison, wife of Malcom B. Wade. John B. was the brother of Malcom B. Wade. Aunt Janie was 20 years younger than Uncle John B. Janie and John had no other children. Bertha married Ernest Clark and they lived within sight of John B. and Aunt Janie. Ernest and Bertha ran a drive in movie and a burger stand until their deaths. Clara Gray Wade and Lee Boy Herbert Lee Wade now live in the house of Ernest and Bertha.

Mary Messer, sister of Kate Messer, 1st married Ed Arnette and had a daughter Althea Arnette. Ed died and Mary married Archie Knight. Archie Knight had been married previously and had a son James (or John?) Wesley Knight. After Archie's 1st wife died he married Mary Messer Arnette. Jimmie and Althea were step brother and sister. Later they married and lived toegther until their deaths. They ran a service station at the crossroads with land that joined Malcolm Wade Sr and William Herbert Wade's land. They bought the land that William Herbert Wade had owned. Jimmie Knight lived to be over 100 years old.

Mary Messer, sister of Kate Messer first married Ed Arnette and had a daughter Althea. Ed died and Mary married Archie Knight, who had a son Jimmie Wesley Knight from a previous marriage. This made Althea and Jimmie stepbrother and stepsister. Years later Jimmie and Althea married and ran a little store down the street from Lula and Macon Wade in Lillington. Jimmie is still alive and will be 100 years old in 1999.
