*MARGARET BLACK wife of ANGUS BLACK of ROBESON Co., NC has been wrongly been put by some as the daughter of KENNETH BLACK (d. 1781, Moore Co., NC). As you see in the AUGUS BLACK & MARGARET BLACK family Bible MARGARET's birth date is December the 2nd 1792(census records back this date up). That is eleven years after KENNETH BLACK died. MARGARET BLACK is listed as "an heir" to her father ARCHIBLAD BLACK's (d. Gadsden Co., FL 1839) estate. MARGARET's living children are also listed by name in ARCHIBALD BLACK's estate papers.
