I am searching for information about an Agerton WILLIS. He is listed
in the 1790 NC Census for Cumberland Co. He had (at least) one son who
i believe is named Joseph. Joseph became a Baptist preacher and moved to
Louisiana. Any information on this family would be greatly appreciated!

of John B and Nancy MURCHISON. On the 4 of Nov 1830 in Cumberland Co, NC
he was married to Florah GILLIS. Who were Florah's parents?

Looking for the parents of John B MURCHISON, a native of Cumberland
Co, NC who was born 12 Jan 1774 and died 26 Aug 1847. He migrated to the
State of Georgia in the year 1818 and then to Coosa Co, Alabama in 1836.
His wife's name was Nancy. Who were her parents?

Searching for descendants of Gilbert ECCLES, died 19 March 1826 in Fayetteville,
NC. He had two sons, Benjamin and John Jr., and a daughter Frances "Fanny"
PEARCE. My g-g-g-g-grandfather, John ECCLES, lived in Zachary, LA in 1823
and is said to have come from NC. There was also a Benjamin ECCLES in Wilkinson
County, MS, which is just north of Zachary, in the early 1820s. I am trying
to determine if there is a connection from LA and MS to NC on these two
ECCLES. John married Mary Ann CHIDESTER. I don't know who Benjamin married.

died Hope Mills, N. C., 3 June, 1922. Married 24, Dec. 1868, Hector McNEILL.
Don't know anything about her other than the above info. Any help would

Looking for information about James PORTERFIELD b. 1718 in Donegal,
Ireland, died in Cross Creek or Cabelton (now Fayetteville), NC in 1777.
I have information as written in 'HISTORICAL SKETCHES OF NORTH CAROLINA'
by John H. Wheeler but need to find his wife's name and her family. Any
help is greatly appreaciated.

I am trying to find some information on a Stephen GALES. He m Jane RAYMOND.
I know they have at least one child in Cumberland County his name was John
Harrison GALES b June 1881. I would be very greatful if anyone has any
information on either Stephen or Jane. Right now I know that Stephen is
buried in Proximity Mill Cemetery in Greensboro, NC.

Looking for info on John McNEIL b. ca 1795, Cumberland Co., N.C. He
married Lavanie BROWN ca 1830. Who were his parents and who were her parents?
Also, Their son Hector is my Great Grandfather and I would like to know
some info on his wife, Adaline FULFORD. She and Hector were married in
Cumberland Co. in 1868. Any info on any of these would be greatly appreciated.

I am looking for information about Jane HORNE. She was born between
the years 1840 and 1845. In 1860 she was living in Johnson County, Kentucky
with Thomas HORNE. Thomas was not her father (maybe an uncle?). I have
reason to believe Daniel HORNE of Cumberland County, NC was her father.
Daniel HORNE died April 1850. Jane HORNE married Levi FAIRCHILD {FAIRCLOTH}
between the years 1860 and 1865. Levi's father was Enoch, a blacksmith.

Searching for info on ggfather Cicero PEARCE and ggmother Mary Frances
McMILLAN who were married there in 1867. Have some background on her side
(Bladen/Cumb.) but nothing on him. Their child, my gfather was Charles
Eugene PEARCE. Siblings unknown if any. She died in 1911.

Solon D. HAIR born July 1872 died December 1922 looking for info on
his siblings, Daniel, Sally, and Yancy and ancestors. Parents of Solon,
Daniel, Sally and Yancy were John L. HAIR b. Oct 1845 died August 1916
married Sarah S. THAGGARD b. 1845 died 1932. John, Sarah, Solon and Yancy
are all buried ain White Oak Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Bladen
County. Will gladly trade info with anyone.

Looking for any information on anyone with the surname CARTER who lived
in Cumberland County in the 1700s and early 1800. We are specifically searching
for the parents of our ancestor, Isaac CARTER, who was a revolutionary
war soldier, born in Cumberland County about 1764. He may have had a brother
called Samuel. He moved from there to Orangeburg County, SC and moved in
1810 to MS, where he died in 1831.

Looking for info on John TAYLOR, b. 1782 in NC married to Mary, b. 1798
in NC, listed in the 1850 Cumberland Co., NC census. Children: Elvia, Jackson,
Mary, Leanna, Elizabeth, Mary A, Zilla, Hester A. This family is living
next door to my ancestor William TAYLOR b. 1818 in NC who married Elizabeth
WILSON. William moved to GA 1851/1854, then to Coffee Co., AL in 1855.
In the 1860 Coffee Co., Al census there are other Taylor's from NC living
near William TAYLOR that I believe are related. They are James, Timothy,
John and Louis.

Looking for info on Nathan WILSON b. 1782 in NC who is listed in the
1850 Cumberland Co., NC census. He married Sansella? b. 1797 in NC. Children:
Hugh, Jane, Malcom, Allen, Rebecca?, Osborn, Nathan. There is a Sylvaina
age 21 also listed in the h/h. What is her relationship? Believe Nathan
also had a daughter named Elizabeth b. 1821 in NC who married William TAYLOR.
This couple is listed a few h/h away.

Looking for Infomation on David ANDERSON b 8 jan 1767 Stirling N. Briton
David and his wife Ann JONES resided in Fayetteville Cumberland Co Ann's
parents William JONES b c 1738 d 1790 and Sarah Watts Price JONES b c 1740
d 1795 both died New Hanover Co I would like to find if Sarah had children
with James PRICE her first husband, Who her Watts parents are and and what
happened to children with William Jones. Ann (part of my line) William,
Sarah, and Evan (died at the residence of David and Ann Anderson in Cumberland
Co. I have the Anderson Family Bible and will be happy to read what I can
first entry 1784 last 1950's

THOMPSON, Neal (Neil): Born 1760 Cumberland County, Virginia; m. Elizabeth
GENTRY abt. 1780 Cumberland Co; daughter of Simon GENTRY (1735) and Susanna
BROWN. The will of Simon GENTRY mentions two daughters, Betty THOMPSON
and Nancy HATCHER, wife of John HATCHER. Known son of Neal THOMPSON, William
THOMPSON (1781) was born in Cumberland Co. Searching for the parents of
Neal THOMPSON. Will of Hugh THOMPSON mentions Neal THOMPSON and grandson
Hugh RUSSELL but does not specify the relationship of Neal THOMPSON. Thanks
