LAST WILL & TESTAMENT OF ARCHIBALD BAKER, CUMBERLAND CO NC - 1811

In the Name of God amen I Archd Baker of the County of Cumberland and state of North Carolina, Being of sound 
and perfict mind and memory, BleSsed be God do this twentyfifth day of April in the year of our Lord 1811 Make 
and publish this my last will and testament in maner following, that is to say

First, I Recommand my soul to to almighty God and my Body to the dust to Be Buried in the most plane and desent 
manner and my worldly estate as follow - 
2ondly I give Bequeth to my wife Margaret Baker all my lands including the including the plantasion whereon I now 
live also all my slaves, to wit, sarah Lilly, Isaac and Judah, to Be disposed of as follows ~The land and plantasion 
to Remain for the use of said Margaret and family and after her death to Be the property of My son Dugald Bakers ~ 
also my Negro Boy Isaac to be the property of said Dugald Baker after the death of said Margaret my wife.

the above named Negro lilly together with all her futer increese to Remain the property of said Margaret Baker my wife, 
during the time of her naturel life to Be disposed of at her death agreeable to her pleasure provided it Be to one or 
more of the heirs of my Body ~ also the above named slave sarah and her Child Iudag to Be sold by said Margaret and 
Dugald Baker, if they think fit, and the money ariseing from the sale of said Negros to Be aplied to the prchasing of 
a negro man or woman for the suport of said Margaret Baker and her family during the time  of her live and after her 
death to Be equelly devided with, all her increase, if a woman among my following Childrens Dugald Baker Mary Baker & 
Cathren Baker' ~ Also all my live stock Cosistng of Cattle horses, sheep, and hogs I order to Remain on the plantasion 
for the use and support of said Margaret my wife and her family, and after her death to Be equally divided among said, 
Dugald Baker, Mary Baker, Cathren Baker ~

also all my farming utansils and other articles for farming I order to Remain on the plantasion for the suport of said 
Margaret and her family and after her death to Be the property of my son Dugald Baker ~  All my household furneture  I 
also leave for the use of said family and after the death of said Margaret my wif to Be the property of said
Dugald, Mary, and Cathren Baker ~ 3rdly I give and Bequeth to my son Danel Baker, John Baker, Neill Baker, and Archd Baker, 
one dollar each, also to my Daughters sara Kelly and Flora Buie and those who legally Represent them one dollard ~

I also make and ordain my son and soninlaw Dugald Baker and Angs Kelly Executors of this my last will and testament in 
witness whereof I have to these presents set my hand and seal the day and year above writen
