DUNCAN McRAE HAS POST MASTER PROBLEMS, 1801

Still searching for a long lost relative? Maybe he was here!
In the year 1801, Post Master, Duncan McRae's job must have been quite a monumental task.
It appears that he was in charge of delivering the mail, not in one NC county, but several;
Randolph, Duplin, Montgomery, Cumberland, Sampson, Robeson, Richmond, Also, the town of Fayetteville,
Cross-Creek, Black River, Drowning Creek, Shoeheel, and others.
	I have studied these counties for many years, and several of the names listed here are not familiar to me.
It is likely these people were in the Sandhills for a while, but moved on to "greener pastures" in the Southwest.
The list is very informative, and could be very helpful if you find your ancestor here. Good luck!
