BIGGEST PIECE OF EQUIPMENT
IN THE CONOVER FIRE DEPARTMENT

This 2001 fire engine, equipped with a 75-foot aerial ladder,
was the first ladder truck purchased for the Conover Fire Department.
The engine is 470 horse-power and the truck carries a crew of six.

The Conover Fire Department consists of forty-six total personnel.
Of these, thirty-six are volunteers.

Thus the spirit of firemen, everywhere--the willingness
to enter into danger while others are rushing to safety.
