grandson of Matthew James Spivey. The cemetery is located on the old
Matthew James Spivey Farm, in the Vinegar
Hill area of Columbus County, North Carolina.
It is off Hwy 701, approximately 6 miles north of Tabor City. Turn
right on Spivey-Ward Road and follow it to
the end. This cemetery is on private
property, as are the roads leading to it.
Please ensure that care is taken not to
travel in fields or yards of residents.
