W. M. SPAKE GRAVEYARD

This old cemetery is located in No. 6 Township, Cleveland County, N.C.
about 200 yards west of the Rock Cut Road and within ¼ mile of the
residence of Max Wilson, being situated in the north edge of a small
patch of wood, with oaks predominating. To the west lies a cultivated
field as well as a field on the eastern and northern portion thereof.
The graveyard embraces about ½ acre and is north from Shelby perhaps
three miles.

General condition of cemetery: The cemetery shows some attention, but
it is hidden in the wood. There are several cement markers erected in
the cemetery bearing inscriptions whatever.
