THOMAS PRUETT GRAVEYARD This cemetery is located in No. 2 Township, Cleveland County, N.C. between Beaver Dam and Sandy Run Creeks, about 150 yards north of road leading from Boiling Springs to Cliffside, about one miles west of Boiling Springs, N.C. and about 150 years west of old Crowder Pruett Home Place. Jones, 80 years old, great nephew of Thomas Pruett, says that Thomas Pruett who came from Burke County to Cleveland County with Gabriel Washburn and married Jane Hamrick and settled ¼ of a mile southeast of cemetery. J. C. Pruett is a son of Thomas Pruett, and grandfather of Rev. Len M. Pruett, Baptist minister of Charlotte.)
