RICHARD ESKRIDGE CEMETERY

Located in No. 6 Township, Cleveland County, N.C. about one mile south
of Beaver Dam Creek and just off a country road leading from the Beaver
Dam Baptist Church to Eskridge old home site.

"Eskridge, Barnett, who volunteered under Capt. Randall, 55 Regt.
N.C.T., and died in the hospital at Gordonville, Va., and brought home.
Aged 19 years and 21 days. Also, John H. Eskridge, brother to the above
died at Richmond, Va., where his remains now lie July 10, 1862. Aged:
23 years and 8 months and 23 days."
