                          PRESTON GOFORTH CEMETERY

                            Cleveland County, NC

     Located at the west edge of the town of Kings Mountain, NC, and
     about 200 yards south of US 74 (1976 location). In a wooded area
     and between the backyards of several dwellings. Apparently the
     area was surrounded by a fence at one time. The area is in very
     poor condition and some of the grave markers have possibly been
     lost. Recorded in June 1976 by C. K. Withrow and Robert Gidney. A
     thank you to Miles Philbeck, Bulletin Editor for The Genealogical
     Society Of Old Tryon County for giving us permission to use this
