Old Salem Church Cemetery, Cleveland County, North Carolina



                         OLD SALEM CHURCH CEMETERY

                            CLEVELAND COUNTY, NC

     This cemetery is located just off NC 182 highway. It is about 800
     feet east of Burns High School and about 500 feet south of NC
     182. In other words, for right now, it is behind the first house
     on the east side of Burns and on the south side of the road. NC
     182 runs between NC 226 at Polkville, NC and NC 18 in Fallston,
     NC. I did this inventory December 5, 1997. There appears to be
     quite a number of graves that are not marked. Some of the markers
     were very difficult to try and read so there might be errors.
