                              McSWAIN CEMETERY

                            Cleveland County, NC

     This one is in the Mt. Sinai Comunnity and not far from Mt. Sinai
     Baptist Church. Thanks to Roy Brooks for letting us use this
     survey for the enjoyment of all. I have not been to this cemetery
     and therefore cannot give explicit directions.

     Some better directions to this cemetery as supplied by Mr. Dennis
     Morgan, my old help hand. Take Highway 18 South out of
     Shelby.About five miles out of Shelby you will come to a caution
     light over the road.Highway 180 comes in on the left and Mt.
     Sinai turns right.Make a right turn and follow this road for
     about three miles.After passing Mt. Sinai Church on the left
     travel about a half mile futher.You will come to a sharp curve to
     the left and a brick house on the right in a thick grove of pine
     trees.The cemetery is back behind the brick house.Stop at the
     house to ask permission and they will show you to the cemetery.It
     hasn't been cleaned in years.
