THE JESSIE HARDIN OLD GRAVEYARD Located in No. 6 Township, Cleveland County, N.C. on the old J. B. Philbeck farm now owned by Charles and Joe Philbeck, about 3 ½ miles west of Shelby and about one mile west of Ora Cotton Mill. The said old graveyard being about 100 yards north of the road leading from Dover Mill to Rhyne Doggett's residence, and being situated on the top of a hill overlooking Brushy Creek, some 400 yards northwest. The graveyard lies near a barn and peach orchard and is grown up in various types of vegetation.
