JAMES ROSS CEMETERY This cemetery is located in No. 6 Township, Cleveland County, N.C. on lands owned by First National Bank of Shelby (formerly A. M. Hamrick land) and about three miles northeast of Shelby, and being somewhat in a clump of bushes on the north side of road leading from Eure Blanton's Garage on Highway No. 18 to Rock Cut Road near Buffalo, consisting of one half (1/2) acre. May 22, 1829 General condition of cemetery: The tombs are all broken down, some of which were entirely covered with leaves and grass.
