IVESTER CEMETERY This tiny family cemetery is located in Cleveland County, N.C. in No. 8 Township west of Tan Yard Cemetery and one mile from Crooked Run Creek, being five miles north of Lawndale, N.C. Edwards explains that a Government Marker has already been secured for Jacob Mauney who is buried in this cemetery, but that it has not yet been erected due to a mistake in the inscription. He further explained that it would be corrected and then be put up. Mr. Edwards says that Jacob Mauney served in the War of 1812.
