The following names and date are found over the front door: "Henry Howser Jane Howser 1803" Stone masons. This Rock House is about 24 x 28 feet and two stories high. The walls are very thick. The house contains three large rooms downstairs and three upstairs. In all, there are four fireplaces, three on the first floor, and one on the second. The walls are plastered and are still in a fair condition. The floors are of 12 inch boards. Entering from the south side, there is a large cellar. Apparently the original steps, soapstones 3 x 5 feet, are still here just as they were when built. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * This cemetery is among the many Cleveland cemeteries included on the Cleveland Count WPA Cemeteries CD, copyrighted 2008, by Ann K.
