Cleveland Gardner: George Hendrick was born in Mecklenburg County, Va. Nov. 2, 1794. Died September 8, 1862 Eddie Sizemore, 1st wife of Geo. Hendrick, born in Mecklenburg county, Va., Nov. __, 1791, d. Sept. 9, 1849. The above named George Hendrick was a son of Thomas Hendrick and wife Mary (Polly) Newton Hendrick. George and his said first wife were married in Mecklenburg County, Va., and came to Rutherford County, N.C. (now Cleveland County) with his mother. Said Geo. Hendrick was married a second time to Pinky Dixon, a sister of Rev. Thomas Dixon, Baptist minister and father of Clarence, Tom and Frank Dixon. Following the death of Geo. Hendrick, his widow, Pinky Dixon Hendrick, was [married] to Peter Scism and by said marriage two children were born, Lucrecia Scism who married Pick Smith, and Philip Scism who married a Miss ______ Champion. Said Geo. Hendrick and wife Eddie Sizemore had nine children whose names are as follows: 1. Cintha Hendrick, married Job Wright, son of Jack Wright 2. Eusibus Hendrick, married Miss Elzata Wellmon, daughter of Wm. N. Wellmon and wife, Rebecca Weathers Wellmon 3. Jim Hendrick, married Elizabeth Glasco 4. Finetta (Needle) Hendrick, married William Vaughan, son of Spincer Vaughan and wife, Leanna ((Leah) Gardner Vaughn. Spencer Vaughan, a son of William (Buck) Vaughn. 5. Louisa Hendrick, married Larkin Howell and settled in Perry County, Ark. 6. Chapel Hendrick, married Miss Mary Ann Wellmon, daughter of William N. Willmon and wife, Rebecca Weathers Wellmon 7. George Marion Hendrick, Jr., born Jan. 1, 1830, d. July 29, 1848, single 8. Lucinda R. Hendrick, married Joseph Costner, son of Daniel Costner 9. Bedford Hendrick, married Miss Louzilla Vaughan, daughter of Spencer Vaughn and wife, Leanna (Leah) Gardner Vaughn. [Listing of children exact per text.] (P.
