EAKER CEMETERY Another small family cemetery, the Eaker Cemetery, is situated in Cleveland County, N.C in No. 8 Township about four miles north of Polkville, N.C.; being a quarter of a mile north of Mr. White's home. Owner of Cemetery: Lemuel White Approximate number of marked graves: 5 Unmarked graves; 20 Earliest marked grave: L. P. E. 1834 General condition of cemetery: Surrounded by cultivated field and is abut 30 x 50 feet and clean. It has six oak trees, two pines and one cedar growing on it. Date of survey; Nov. 20, 1939 Workers: Forest Williams and Anson G. Melton Rev. Gwin Dean, Methodist, and wife had five children buried here.
