Weathers and A. G. Melton Inscriptions: McAfee, Charles D. Sept. 1st (Year not given) Aged: 5 mos., 8 days McAfee, George W. D. Mar. 17, 1848 in his 16 year McAfee, Abner D. Dec. 1844 Aged: 71 years McAfee, Margaret L. D. June 16, 1841 Age: 1 year (Mr. Lamar Davis reports that Rev. Thomas Dixon's grandfather is buried here.) (I am told that Abner McAfee was the father of Amanda McAfee, who married Rev. Thomas Dixon, Sr., and grandfather of Rev. Amazi Clarence Dixon, one time pastor of the Spurgeon Tabernacle, London, England; also the celebrated tom Dixon, author, playwright, and lecturer, and Dr. Delia Dixon Carroll. Worker: A. G.
