Many of these records start earlier than stated and some go later than stated. These dates are just a general reference point, I think but, they are real dates given in the document, sometimes just the first date given or the last one. Some of these are inventories, some are account sales. Many are no more than a couple of lines in a supplemental account or inventory. I have begun to extract the material in file name by name but, it is very slow go.

If you get confused by the number and sequence of pages of your ancestor's estate, remember that they 'tried' to put the names in more or less, alphabetical order in the book. And then, as the probate of the estate progressed, they would add information as it was recorded and filed. Some pages have several names on them with one or two lines of data. Then, they also went across the pages at the top, from right to left, instead of moving down the page.

Note for below:
I've underlined the name of the deceased person, whose estate is given.  If there is no name, other than that one,  it is because there was a will and they didn't put the executor's name down.. Most of the names,( after the date) are administrators..

The first 2 pages of this book are missing. So, it starts with page 3.
