He died on 14 Oct 1877 in Lincoln County, North Carolina. He was buried in Trinity Lutheran Church Cem., Vale, NC. Will dated 11 Oct 1877 and probated 17 Apr 1878 names wife as the sole
devisee. WB 2-188. Malinda Jane ROBINSON and John Gilbert RHONEY had the following children:
