221. (J.) Albert ANGEL was born on 24 Apr 1845 in Catawba County, North Carolina and died on 30 Apr 1933 in Newton. ⁽²⁵⁹⁾ of acute bronchitis. He had fallen and sprained his hip on 15 March, two weeks before his death.
He was buried in Grace Lutheran Church Cem., Catawba Co., NC. Albert enlisted in the 72nd Regiment, Co. E., NC Troops on 21 May 1864.

He was married to Mary E. BANGLE (daughter of Henry L. BANGLE and Catherine Caroline HELMS). Mary E. BANGLE was born on 23 Jun 1849 in Catawba County, North Carolina and died on 23 Dec 1939 in Lincolnton, Lincoln, North Carolina. ⁽²⁶⁰⁾ of heart disease, a defect of the mitral valve. She was buried in Grace Lutheran Church Cem., Catawba Co., NC. (J.) Albert ANGEL and Mary E. BANGLE had the following children:
