Jesse A. Sigmon was born 14 Feb 1848 and died 1 Mar 1942

A Confederate veteran, he enlisted February 1, 1865 and served for the balance of the war. He was a private in Company H, 28th Regiment, NC Troops. Jesse Sigmon was the last surviving Catawba County veteran.
