Eckard, Jennifer Eckard, James Lutz and wife, Susan; with children Kinsley R. Lutz, Evan and Andrew McDowell; adopted sisters, and grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 21, in the chapel at Bass-Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. Dan Duke officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park. She is survived by a son and his fiancee, James Lutz and Crystal Huffman of Hickory; a granddaughter, Kinsley Lutz of Hickory; a sister, Scottie Winters of Hickory; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Janice and Eddie Eckard and Sandra and Russell Rogers Sr., all of Hickory; her former husband, Tony Lutz of Hickory; and a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Mount Pisgah Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Michael Stone officiating.
