Mary Magdalena HENKEL and John SKIDMORE were married in 1760. John SKIDMORE^4,5 was born on 10 Jun 1736 and died on 12 Oct 1809. John Skidmore was a farmer on the North Fork and was Captain of the North Fork Company in the Revolutionary War and was later promoted to Major. He was severely wounded in service at Point Pleasant.
