Ordination: Ordained Deacon 1848 and Pastor 1849 on day of marriage, by Tennessee Synod. Calls: Transferred 1855 to Virginia Synod. In 1860 was located in Danville, Montour County, Pa., where he served for a number of years before moving to Richmond, Va. Transferred back to North Carolina Synod, 1873. St. John, Cabarrus County; Holy Trinity, Mt. Pleasant, 1872-75. Transferred to Indiana Synod. 1876.
