"West of the Catawba"

... designed to allow genealogists and historians to explore their common roots.

The land known by the early German, Scot-Irish and English settlers as the land
West of the Catawba was a fertile and friendly land. These gentle rolling foothills
and the Catawba River valley reminded these 18th century settlers of their homeland.
