Christina CLINE {1.4.4}64,65 was born between 1745 and 1750 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania62 and died in 1771 in Lincoln (Catawba) County, North Carolina.62,108 She was buried in Old Yoder Cemetery. Oral family history, cited by Ciscero Cline, declares Christina to be a daughter of Sebastian Cline who marries Conrad Yoder about 1763 and dies about 1771 after having three sons, John, Jacob and David Yoder. John and David Yoder are present at Sebastian Cline's 1794 estate sale, which could indicate that they are his grandsons. Jacob Yoder is stated to be the son of Conrad and Christina Cline Yoder. No direct proof has been found that Christina is Sebastian's daughter, but the Cline and Yoder families believe that she is. Christina is probably born about 1745. [marriage record in Rowan Co.]

Christina and Conrad Yoder live on 200 acres on Jacob's Fork of the Catawba River near Henry Weidner. Conrad is born in Switzerland and immigrates to Pennsylvania in 1751. He then migrates to North Carolina by 1760 and buys his North Carolina land from Henry Weidner in 1762.

Christina CLINE {1.4.4} and Conrad (Joder) YODER were married about 1763. Conrad (Joder) YODER was born about 1730 in Switzerland. A farmer, he dies in Apr 1790 in Lincoln County, North Carolina. and was buried in the Old Yoder Cemetery. Christina CLINE {1.4.4} and Conrad (Joder) YODER had the following children:

John YODER was born on 26 Oct 1764 in Anson County, North Carolina. A farmer, he died on 29 Dec 1835 in Lincoln County, North Carolina. He was buried in Grace Lutheran Church Cemetery, Catawba County, North Carolina.

Jacob YODER was born on 13 Dec 1767 in Mecklenberg County, North Carolina. He died about 1853 in Brown County, Indiana and was buried in Baine Cemetery there. He sold his farm in North Carolina, circa 1815 and moved to Kentucky, and then to Indiana. After Jacob's death, Catherine moved to Missouri with her son John.

David YODER was born on 3 Apr 1770 in Tryon County, North Carolina. A farmer, he died on 14 Jul 1864 in Catawba County, North Carolina and was buried in Grace Lutheran Church Cemetery there. His will, dated 22 Feb 1859 and probated in Jul 1864, names all his children and states that his daughter Catharine is "simple" and unable to take care of herself. [WB 1-181]. All of David's daughters remained single, Frances, Sarah, and Elizabeth made a joint will on 6 Apr 1866 leaving their respective estates "to each other." Will was probated in Jan 1867, most likely upon the death of Sarah who died in 1867.
