Smith Family Cemetery
Cabarrus County, North Carolina

Survey taken October 25, 2003. From exit 49 on
I-85 north of Charlotte, NC, go east 1.3 miles on Speedway Blvd. Turn north
into the Fleetwood RV Racing Campground Resort. The cemetery is located next
to campsite WC26 on the west side of the campground. All the graves have full
concrete slabs without headstones covering them. Most of the slabs are cracked,
with some pieces missing. The cemetery is being maintained by the campground.
I have assigned the name "Smith Family Campground" arbitrarily because
most of those buried in the cemetery are Smiths.
