Kiser Family Graveyard

From Cannon Memorial Library, 27 Union Street N, Concord, North Carolina, take Highway 601 S. until you come to the intersection of Garmon Mill Road. Turn left onto Garmon Mill Road (Sr 1114) and go to the intersection of Hopewell Church Road. Turn right onto Hopewell Church Road (Sr 1113) and go approximately .7 miles. Turn left into Deerrun Estates and go to the end of the road. The cemetery is located on the left behind a concrete block building. When I visited the cemetery on 1/2/1998 this subdivision was still being built and I had to walk a good ways back to the cemetery. But the streets were rough graded and pass within 300 feet of the block building. There are only two headstones in this cemetery, Marcus & Mary Kiser and they were moved in the summer of 1997 to make way for this development. -- Gary Horton
