| Zachariah Jacobs
(1753-1847) served two terms in the SC Militia then enlisted in the
Continental Line in 1881. All enlistments from Brunswick County. Moved
to New Hanover County after the war. Appears on pension roles there. William Curtis Jacobs (1791-1888) was the first born child of Zachariah and Sally Jacobs. He lived and owned land Brunswick County. Married Elizabeth Eady abt 1815 and moved to Richmond County NC about 1848. Appears on the 1830-1840 census. This line has been accepted by the DAR and SAR as well as by Y-DNA. |
