Head Stone: Frank Guyton AUG.15 ,1857-Jan 12, 1944 1st wife: Alice Evaline Davis Burial: Old Guyton Graveyard Headstone: Alice E. Davis wife of W.H.F.Guyton,July 29,1857-Oct 3,1914 (???) Family of Frank Guyton have said that the death date on Alice HEAD STONE is in error. That it is incorrect that she died before he married the 2nd time. Children of Alice and W.H. F. Guyton (Frank) William Murray Guyton: BORN: September 2, 1882 - Bladen County, NC Died: MAY 15, 1957, Franklin, Va Some information i have received has a daughter listed for Alice and W H F Guyton named Emma B. I am not sure if Emma was the daughter of Alice because i have conflicting information. Emma's birth date is around Sept 1866, and a 1900 census has her listed as 13 and shows that William Henry Franklin Guyton was married to Galvadora Evers for 15 years at that time. That makes Frank and Galvadora getting married around 1885(?) IF dates on census is correct. William Murray is listed as 17. So he would be the son of Alice Regards and thank you for answering email, Linda E. Fields 2ND WIFE: Galvadora Evers (She was the sister- in- law of WHF Guyton's sister Mary Catherine Guyton.,wife of Leander Evers.,Galvadora's brother. Burial: Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery Daughter of Dora and Frank Guyton is: Rachel Blanch Guyton born about 1894 Died: ???? Married Issac Ducan I have not found any substantial information listed about Rachel and she was not listed on the 1900 or 1910 census in the household of William Henry Franklin Guyton and wife, Galvadora. 3RD WIFE OF William Henry Franklin Guyton Maggie Mills (Mag) It is said she was a Cherokee Indian (a 1930 census shows WHFG AND WIFE Mag living in Bladenboro) 4th Wife: Gladys White (Married her about 1934) Gladys White and two sons live in Clarkton. Rev.John Henry Guyton, born: 1935 Eddie Guyton, born 1937 (Wiliam Henry Franklin Guyton lived between Bladenboro and the cotton mill and I have been told that he was a boot maker and Cobbler and had his business in his front yard.) The house where he lived has been tore down in the past few years. ABOUT THE PHOTOS: It would seem to me that the Phoot that has William Henry Murray Guyton posted under it is William Henry Franklin Guyton. It has to be if he is the father of William Murray Guyton. If you at the family Photo you can see it is the same man posted as William Henry Frank Guyton. Left to Right Family photo: Charles Porter Guyton (Charlie) and wife Louvena Tyler William Murray Guyton and 2nd wife Mortie Brisson, William Henry Franklin Guyton (Frank) and 3rd wife Mag Mills and Blanch. (This may be Rachel Blanch)? If both children belong to William Murray and Mortie I don't know which ones it is... The oldest was William Caulder Guyton, born April 13, 1909, Bladenboro, NC To give you a time range on the photo ..The ages of Murrays Children are from the year 1909 when he was still married to Galvadora Evers and the last child was born 1929 In Ahoskie, NC....... Photo would have been taken after 1912 and taken after he was married to 3rd wife Mag Mills. (I don't know as of yet what year he married Maggie Mills) All the census i have found on him he was living in Bladenboro. I don't know when he was suppose to be in Dublin. William Murray and first wife Allie and their child died. Married only a few years. William Murray Guyton and wife Mortie Bell Brisson. (You can tell they are the same man by looking at the photo?) On the 1910 census Mortie Bell listed as daughter-in-law, (13 yrs) wife of Murray (24 years) and a child under a year old named William C. is living with WHF Guyton and wife Galavadora ,,,,,,, Charlie Porter is listed as 17 and single and Emma B. as 21 It is listed on the 1910 census that WHF Guyton and Galvadora have been married 22 years, Galvadora is the mother of 8 children and only 2 living the 1900 census stated she was the mother of 5 children and only 2 living. That information leaves me with questions about Rachel Blanch as she is not listed on the 1900 or 1910 census and about Emma B ....because of birth date and age and i wonder what the B stands for in her name...I do not know if Maggie had children and exactly how long they were married but had to be between 1912 and 1934.. Perhaps the young unidentified young man is Maggie and Franks child. I hope this letter is not confusing you. If that man in the round frame is suppose to be the father of Murray it has gotta be Frank Guyton I think he bears a strong resemblance to his sister, Mary Catherine Guyton Evers. I am emailing photo to you
