| MISCELLANEOUS: | I have heard of a Rodger Plantation located near Rocky Mount, Nash County, North Carolina . Presumably freed slaves settled to the east, south of Williamston, in a place now called "Rodger'stown". Descendents of the founders supposedly meet yearly for reunion. Might you know anything of this? (Absolum Rodger is listed on the plaque at the Pitt County Courthouse , Greenville, as one of the signers, and member of "The Pitt Association". [1775] ).
