Fort Branch can be seen just North of Aulander. This should encompass the Cow Branch, Long Branch, Spring Branch, and Reedy Branch off shoots -- but have not been clearly identified.. The Fort Branch that runs through Aulander is just a dried up ditch for the most part now, I understand, but the ditch remains.
